In response to health care facilities' request for more efficient sterile instrument processing, Best Practice Professionals, Inc. (BPP) developed one SOURCE document site, an electronic database that provides immediate access to manufacturers' Instructions for Use documents. Since 2006, Best Practice Professionals, Inc. has been committed to improving processing efficiencies by making it easy for hospitals, clinics and surgery centers to be compliant with manufacturers' Instruction for Use documents. The founders have more than fifty years of combined experience in the healthcare industry. Today, BPP's one SOURCE document site is recognized as a leader in the field by meeting or exceeding the expectations of healthcare facilities and delivering the most complete electronic database of sterile processing documents. The only database of its kind, BPP's one SOURCE document site provides electronic versions of hundreds of manufacturers' cleaning, decontamination, and assembly/disassembly instructions for surgical instruments. In addition, the database includes manufacturers' instructions for medical device technique manuals and clinical equipment manufacturers' cleaning and maintenance instructions.

Jack Speer, BS, MS
Jack Speer is the president of Best Practice Professionals Inc. He has more than thirty years of experience developing sterilization processes and managing microbiology laboratories with medical device firms including, Johnson & Johnson, Bard and Becton Dickenson. He appreciates the importance of correct procedures for cleaning and sterilizing reusable surgical instruments.
Dean Crawford, BES, ME
Dean Crawford is in charge of the technical operations at Best Practice Professionals Inc. His mechanical engineering degrees and more than twenty-four years in the medical device industry makes Dean well prepared for his responsibilities. Dean was responsible for developing and writing instructions for product use in the medical device industry.
Lory Hunter ST, CRCST
Lory Hunter is in charge of coordinating the database collection, customer service and providing technical advice to Best Practice Professionals Inc. With more than two decades of hands-on experience in Operating Rooms (as a Surgical Tech) and more recently as a manager of a Sterile Processing department, Lory Hunter has a unique perspective on the challenges faced by surgical care teams from both sides of the operating room doors. Now a founding partner with Best Practice Professionals Inc., Lory specializes in helping OR and Sterile Processing teams meld good technique and best practices to create improvement.
